We are proud to present the most important news of our solutions as well as the upcoming webinars, review a few events and look forward to the next ones. Our newsletter will again be rounded off by the introduction of two employees from our TAC family.

We are continuously working on improving and further developing our modern all-in-one software. We would like to present you the following features and improvements, which will soon be available to you:

Revision of deposits for webshop reservations: The deposit function has been completely revised. Deposits are only used for prepayments. The master data must be adjusted, as the tax is now already displayed on the prepayment invoice.

In the webshop, services can be paid 100% in advance. The customer does not pay the service itself, but the prepayment. As soon as the service is consumed, it can be paid automatically with the prepayment. Thus the revenue of the webshop reservation is on the day of the service is provided and not on the day of the webshop purchase.

If you already work with prepayments/deposits or would like to start using them, please contact our TAC Support to discuss the necessary master data changes.

Postal code query: If a customer buys a single access pass, multi access pass or a group access pass, a postal code query can be made. This makes it possible to evaluate where most visitors come from.

Promotion codes: Promotion codes are now also considered in the Touch POS. These can be added manually or automatically as in the Advanced POS. The corresponding products, services, gift certificates or packages are then discounted for your customers.

Register close-out – simplified mode in the Touch POS: A simplified form of the register close-out will be available in Touch POS. The cash balance is recorded and the system creates a report which shows whether this amount is correct or whether there has been a cash difference.

Update cash position: The function “update cash position” which is already available the Advanced POS will also be available in the Touch POS.

Reservation Module: Reservation confirmations, itineraries and cancellation confirmations can now also be printed for several guests of a reservation.

Locker groups: For the management of your locker groups two different options exist in the Administration Module: (1) Chargeable Lockers: Depending on the desired contracts and admissions, an amount can be charged when closing a locker. (2) Automatic machine: A certain amount depending on the contract can be charged when opening a locker. Products are placed in the locker and the sale takes place when the locker is opened. The lockers can be refilled with a master media.

New access type: With this new type of access device, guests will be able to check-in at one area and check-out at parallel from the previous area. For example, for structural reasons, a guest only has to cross the sauna area for a short time in order to enter the thermal spa. He can then be checked out and into the spa area at the end of the sauna area.

Herewith we would to present you the following new features of our cloud-based solution “sense.”:

Guest search and selection via medium (from sense. Version 9.20): From this version on, guests can be selected via a media in the reservation overview. For example, if a guest has a membership card and would like to make a reservation, the card is read directly by the employee and the reservation is created in just a few steps.

Optimized payment of free articles (from sense. Version 9.25): Within sense. version 9.25, it will be possible to speed-up the payment of free products or services. In this case, an invoice will be created and directly made available for printing.

Easy billing of tips (from sense. Version 9.25): Tips or Gratuity can be easily billed. For this purpose only the amount of the tip has to be determined by means of the “tip” function in sense.

Achieve your digital advantage with our modern TAC Webshop. We can offer you the following features:

Monthly view for courses: Decide how you want to present your extensive range of courses in the TAC Webshop. Both a weekly and a monthly view of your courses are possible.

Prepaid cards: From now on personalized prepaid cards of your guest can be loaded online in the account area of the TAC Webshop and Kiosk. Simple handling for your guest is thus guaranteed!

Individual notes for reservations and courses: With an online reservation or web booking, individual questions can be asked to your guests for certain services. The respective answers are then clearly visible in the reservation and for therapists.

Individual guest notes for table reservations: In order to get as much information about your guests as possible in advance, certain information can be checked during online table reservations. This includes details such as allergies, intolerances, preferences and dislikes.

Monika Kummer has been part of the software support team at TAC in Hartberg since November 2018. Previously, she passed her final apprenticeship examination as an office clerk with distinction and worked in the accounting department. Her hobbies are music, sports and travelling.

Georg Reiter

Georg Reiter has been Project Manager at TAC since July 2017. In addition to his master’s degree in “Health Management in Tourism” at the Joanneum University of Applied Sciences, he has gained a great deal of professional experience at the St. Martins Therme, and then found his way to TAC. He describes himself as a globetrotter, a bookworm and a sporting ace.
